"Woman" and "lady" are interchangeable terms, but Catwoman is embodied by the babelicious likes of Julie Newmar, Eartha Kitt, Michelle Pfeiffer, and now Anne Hathaway in The Dark Knight Rises, while the Cat Lady is her pathetic spinster aun—teven though she's not the one who dresses and acts like every day is Halloween. The telling disconnect between the feline fatale and the bachelorette-gone-wrong got us thinking about how these two independent, idiosyncratic females compare—and how Selina Kyle might turn out in 20-30 years if she doesn't convince Bruce Wayne that he should put a ring on it.
