Forum Buzz: 'Hobbit', 'Iron Man 3' & 'Star Trek Into Darkness' Lead Most Anticipated Movies

on December 10, 2012 by Shawn Robbins

hobbit1-ironman3-trek2.pngThe third edition of our latest column is now live and, as expected, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey holds on to the top spot as our forum community's most anticipated film coming out in the next 12 months. Iron Man 3 is on its heels, though, with a jump up three spots to #2 this week.

Star Trek Into Darkness held on to the #3 spot, but considering the release of the announcement teaser last Thursday as well as the upcoming full trailer and 9-minute IMAX preview within the next week, we'll be watching this one closely.

The biggest change of the week comes from Guillermo del Toro's Pacific Rim which jumped eight positions to enter the top ten at #9. A big portion of the leap can be attributed to the viral videos released online last week. Man of Steel also jumped a notch with some help from the release of its first teaser poster early last week.
