True Grit grossed $1.30 million on Wednesday to lead the daily box office for a tenth consecutive day. Paramount's critically acclaimed western remake was down 6 percent from Tuesday and down a very solid 33 percent from last Wednesday. The 22-day total for True Grit stands at $113.84 million. With Sony's The Green Hornet and Universal's The Dilemma set to debut on Friday, True Grit will obviously fall out of first place this weekend, but is still in great shape to experience a strong weekend hold.

Black Swan continued to impress on Wednesday with another second place performance. The Fox Searchlight release grossed $0.92 million, which was down just 3 percent from Tuesday and down 25 percent from last Wednesday. Black Swan has grossed $63.91 million to date and should experience another great hold over the weekend, especially with the film set to expand into an additional 744 locations on Friday.

Universal's Little Fockers held steady in third place with $0.84 million. The high-profile comedy sequel was down 8 percent from Tuesday and down 48 percent from last Wednesday. Little Fockers has grossed $126.24 million in 22 days and has now seen its total domestic gross lead over True Grit shrink to $12.40 million.

TRON: Legacy was up one spot to take fourth place with $0.76 million. The 3D sci-fi sequel was down 7 percent from Tuesday and down 45 percent from last Wednesday. TRON: Legacy surpassed the $150 million mark yesterday and has now grossed $150.48 million in 27 days. However, the film is likely to experience one of this weekend's larger declines given the new direct competition from The Green Hornet.

The Fighter was also up one spot to round out the day's top five. Paramount's Oscar Hopeful for Best Picture grossed $0.71 million, which was down 7 percent from Tuesday and down a healthy 28 percent from last Wednesday. The Fighter has grossed $59.92 million in 27 days and will cross the $60 million mark today. Look for the film to hold up nicely once again over the weekend.

Relativity's Season of the Witch started to lose momentum in a big way on Wednesday. The poorly reviewed Nicolas Cage vehicle grossed $0.66 million to finish in seventh. That was down three spots and a sharp 19 percent from Tuesday. With a six-day gross of $12.84 million Season of the Witch is still running slightly ahead of expectations, but after yesterday's decline it appears that the film will indeed be quite front-loaded.
