Battleship is off to a very weak start with around $9 million on Friday. Universal's attempt to build their own Transformers-like franchise has clearly backfired. A 55% combined approval rating from nearly 87,000 Flixster users indicates toxic word-of-mouth.
The Dictator is also starting off slow—Sacha Baron Cohen's latest took in only $5.740 million on Friday. Nearly 35,000 Flixster users have combined to give the Paramount release a disconcerting 66% approval rating.
What to Expect When You're Expecting tallied a modest $3.85 million on Friday. More than 16,000 Flixster users have combined to give the romantic comedy a weak 60% approval rating.
