The Amazing Spider-Man took in $20.7 million on Friday, pushing its domestic cume to $95.7 million. The reboot could hit $140 million during its first six days of release. This is an impressive start considering that Batman Begins, the film that started the reboot craze, did $79.5 million over five days in 2005. Word of mouth is healthy thanks to an 84% combined approval rating from more than 291,000 Flixster users.

Savages is off to a respectable start. Oliver Stone's latest tallied $5.6 million on Friday. More than 17,000 Flixster users have combined to give Savages a relatively weak 72% approval rating.

When it comes to concert films, Katy Perry is no Justin Bieber. Katy Perry: Part of Me 3D is off to a lackluster start after taking in only $2.7 million on Friday. More than 11,600 Flixster users have combined to give Part of Me an 81% approval rating.
