Sony's Skyfall remained strong on Monday with a first place take of $11.33 million. The 23rd installment of the James Bond franchise fell 53 percent from Sunday. In general, daily holds on Monday were stronger than usual, as many had the day off as a result of Veterans Day falling on Sunday. Skyfall surpassed the $100 million mark on Monday and has now grossed $101.89 million after four days of wide release and an additional day of limited release. Skyfall is currently running 42 percent stronger than the $71.66 million four-day start of 2008's Quantum of Solace and should display stronger holding power going forward than Quantum of Solace did thanks to much stronger word of mouth.

Disney's Wreck-It Ralph placed in second with $5.91 million. Thanks to many schools being off for Veterans Day, the 3D computer animated film was down just 42 percent from Sunday and up 100 percent over last Monday. Wreck-It Ralph has grossed $99.56 million in eleven days and will surpass the $100 million domestic mark today. The film is currently running 11 percent stronger than the $89.93 million eleven-day take of 2010's Megamind.

Paramount's Flight took third place with $1.97 million. The Denzel Washington vehicle directed by Robert Zemeckis fell 51 percent from Sunday and was up 1 percent over last Monday. Flight has grossed a very solid $49.42 million in eleven days and is set to clear the $50 million mark today. The film is currently running 15 percent ahead of the $43.00 million eleven-day start of 2010's Unstoppable and is doing so while playing in significantly less locations.

Lincoln continued to post strong location numbers on Monday as the Disney release grossed $195,633 from 11 locations. That gave the Steven Spielberg directed film a per-location average of $17,785 for the day. Lincoln fell 41 percent from Monday and has now grossed $1.14 million through four days of platform release. Beginning on Friday Lincoln will be playing in an estimated 1,500 locations.
