Disney's Zootopia took in $3.91 million on Thursday to lead the daily box office for a seventh straight day. The critically acclaimed 3D computer animated film from Walt Disney Animation Studios was up a healthy 5 percent over Wednesday's performance. Zootopia was easily the week's top film with a very strong seven-day start of $92.62 million. That was 15 percent ahead of the $80.30 million seven-day take of 2014's The LEGO Movie and 22 percent ahead of the $75.64 million seven-day start of 2014's Big Hero 6.

Fox's Deadpool was up one spot from Wednesday to move into second place on Thursday with $1.36 million.

Disney reports today that Zootopia easily remained in first place on Wednesday with a $3.725 million take. That lifts the animated smash hit's domestic cume up to $88.7 million through just six days of release, putting it 20 percent ahead of where Big Hero 6 stood at the same point in its cycle. A repeat performance in first place is expected this weekend for the Disney Animation flick.

London Has Fallen grabbed second place again with $1.415 million yesterday, bringing its six-day U.S. haul up to $26.84 million. The action sequel is currently trending 30 percent behind its 2013 predecessor, Olympus Has Fallen.

Disney's Zootopia grossed $5.37 million on Tuesday to lead the daily box office for a fifth consecutive day. The critically acclaimed 3D computer animated film from Walt Disney Animation Studios was up a solid 18 percent over Monday's performance. Zootopia has grossed a very strong $84.98 million in five days of release. That places the film 12 percent ahead of the $75.68 million five-day start of 2014's The LEGO Movie and 18 percent ahead of the $71.88 million five-day take of 2014's Big Hero 6. Zootopia is expected to remain comfortably in first place over the upcoming weekend.

Disney's Zootopia took in $4.54 million on Monday to lead the daily box office for a fourth consecutive day. The critically acclaimed 3D computer animated film from Walt Disney Animation Studios fell 81 percent from Sunday. Zootopia has grossed a very strong $79.61 million through four days of release. That places the film 10 percent ahead of the $72.54 million four-day start of 2014's The LEGO Movie and an impressive 30 percent ahead of the $61.38 million four-day take of 2014's Big Hero 6. Given its strong early word of mouth and the relative lack of competition for family audiences it will continue to face throughout March, Zootopia is likely to hold up very well going forward.

Disney's Zootopia scored an excellent $19.469 million opening day on Friday, easily taking first place with the second highest March opening day ever for an animated title (behind Ice Age: The Meltdown's $21.8 million) and the best ever among the month's original animated films. Yesterday's fantastic start also topped Disney Animation's previous hit, Big Hero 6, by over 23 percent. Early word of mouth is incredibly strong across all ages with a phenomenal 98 percent critics' score on Rotten Tomatoes and an equally impressive 95 percent Flixster score this morning. There's no doubt the film will be playing strongly for weeks to come as Disney's Midas touch extends to yet another film. For the weekend, BoxOffice projects a tally around $70.
