'Exodus: Gods and Kings' Dethrones 'Hobbit' as Top Film in Brazil

Exodus: Gods and Kings took over the Brazilian box office on its opening weekend. Ridley Scott's Biblical epic registered the second biggest opening weekend of all time on the market for Fox and gave director Ridley Scott his biggest debut of all time in Brazil. The film brought in $6.67 million from 901 screens in its opening frame with 77% of the grosses coming from 3D screenings. Exodus: Gods and Kings has grossed a total of $97 million overseas.
